Solve Septic Tank Problems
Most septic tank problems can be traced to an overgrowth of anaerobic bacteria. Anaerobic bacteria begin to grow when a lack of oxygen exists and dies when it is introduced. Other septic tank problems can be attributed to the effects of byproducts from the bacterium include corrosion from hydrogen sulfide; this is produced during the respiration of the bacterium. You will recognize the presence of it by a “rotten egg” smell. Organic material will not break down quickly, forming a thick sludge called the biomat that will clog the drain pipe and can affect the leach field. Liquid cannot drain from the system because the biomat blocks the drain holes. This causes the “stinking sewage swamp” to form. It is a health hazard to the home and the neighborhood.
A septic system company may tell you that to resolve your septic tank problems you need an entirely new septic tank, new pipes and more. This can cost thousands of dollars. Septic system remediation can be achieved by the introduction of oxygen into your system with the Septic System Saver®. The tank does not need to be dug up to install the equipment.
Oxygen and aerobic bacteria are introduced into the system by controlled septic aearation. The aerobic bacteria begin to multiply at a fantastic rate, feeding on the organic material throughout the system. In a few weeks, the swamp will disappear as the sludge is broken down to allow water to drain into the ground. Over time, over 90 percent of the organic materials can be broken down; the tank will not need to be “pumped out” frequently, but only on a limited basis, usually every 3 – 5 years.
The Septic System Saver® can be installed by the homeowner, a handyman, or a plumber quickly and easily. It operates on a 120-volt electrical supply. All of the equipment in the system is UL listed and will not be affected by the elements. It uses very little electricity and operates all year long. Comparing the cost of repairs to the cost of purchase and electricity, you cannot afford to live without an aerobic Septic System Saver® any more.
